❝hunting down the wanton!❞
supposed to go and teach piano today, but when i saw my calender again... i just realised that it could be on fri instead! so i had to actually call up my student and ask her when was it supposed to be! yikes! so paiseh! well... since i already told my folks that i'll be going to teach piano, might as well. so instead of teaching piano, i decided to go to the school library to work on this blog. but before that, i had a problem... where was i to go to heed the call of my stomach? i remembered a food programme on channel u last night which recommended this boon kee wonton noodle stall in clementi. and since i've got so much spare time, why not? it was an interesting experience to wait and to interact with the people there... provided you have the luxury of time! initially the uncle who shared the same table as me seemed hostile to my approach. but i soon guessed that it must be the long wait which was agonizing him. cos when his noodles arrived, he couldn't stop talking about his life experiences. he almost recited his family tree, and told me how he escaped from China during the early jap attack to Spore, only to suffer the same fate 4 to 5 yrs later, when jap invaded Spore. quite funny, i must sadly admit! then he told me how he got to jail because of an unjust hearing (from his point of view) and how chinese were being biased during those times. pinch of salt.

afte the interesting meal, i went to lib to do my stuffs. then as i was heading back, i saw tan lilin! hmmm... wonder if it's the make-up or the fact that we graduated, she somehow looked better today! oh ya! that reminds me! now i can post all our class pics on this blog! call it a time capsule if you like. actually i'm a nostalgic person. and when it comes to reliving memories, there's a kinda clash of emotions. like you appreciate and loved the things that we went through together, good or bad. on the other hand, you miss them and can't help but sigh at the relentless speed of time.
