❝Ma Ma Ma...CAUUU!!!❞
sunrise! sunrise! there is morning in your eyes! day 3 was greeted by the sunrise. really nice indeed. been a long time since i last seen a sunrise this early! as you can tell, the early wake-up is purely intended. it is our last day and we had to make the most out of it! the first thing we did was to find food. thank goodness for us...although the hotel itself isn't very fantastic, with all its cigarette smell reeking throughout the place, it is comfortably sited near many local makan places. so we managed to settle for one with little ease.

just as i thought i could join my folks and shop the so-called underground mall in ZhuHai, which was something i imagined to resemble CityLink at city hall, i was 'kidnapped' into a local saloon. my folks' motive for the crime: it's cheap and the hairstyles of 'young people' they see on the streets dun look as 'tood' as expected. and WALA!!! first step to my little transformation. i had actually pointed to a certain page showing wad type of hairstyle i wanted which is something as shown below.

but the end result, after 2 hours of arduous steaming (aka perming for euphemism's sake...)i got something totally different, and whacked out. no doubt it's different. and whether it looks nice or not is purely subjective. most prob it'll belong to the latter. thing is, they made my hair so curled up that i think i can pass off as a lady with some make-up. it also posed a major problem for me when it comes to styling it. so for the rest of the day, i figured i had better stick to this hairstyle and not doing anything to it. it somehow felt like sth after surgery and you'd be extra cautious with the operated site. my head is the operated site.

the hair process thing took so long that by the time it was ready, we had to leave zhuhai for mamama...cau. so we quickly went back to the bubugao hotel and took our luggage before heading towards the custom building. there, my dad exhibited his unscrupulous bargaining skills and one of it landed me with a really good quality leather Boss sling pouch at SGD30.00!

so after buying all those stuffs, which was really irritating cos of dad's flaunting his bargaining skills, we crossed over the custom from zhuhai to macau. from there, we took a cab to a really ulu hotel. can't be blamed since it was booked only for us to temporarily place our luggages there. the counter was so pissed when he saw so many people going into the room. maybe it's so old a building so maybe he's afraid that it'll collapse bah! haha!

after ridding ourselves of the burdens, we happily took off by foot and walked along a richly portugeuse-flavoured walkway. and for the first time, i saw how semi-processed sharksfin looked like being sunned, in erm... the sun.

as we walked, we walked up to St. Paul's ruin. yes it looks archaeological enough. but i dun see how attractive it is to see only one face of wall standing. superb place for narcissists to take pics of themselves. other than that, i dun really appreciate any value in it. no offense, Paul...

the archaic structure is a huge contrast to the modernity of the path that leads down from the St. Paul's ruin. just that stretch alone, there already were 5 optical shops lining up. there were also many pro-jap foodstalls that sells tako and wad have you. they even have large LCD monitors in front of their stalls showing jap mtv! wooo...

as we walked down the alley street, we noticed an interesting sight. though we din really knew wad it was initially, you won't go wrong if you walk towards a crowd who's standing around, and if you have nth better to do. there was a 50 yr old plus guy dressed up in chinese opera kind of suit and raised a really high banner protesting against a finance company which cheated of his money. wad he got back in return when he confronted them was a receipt with less than 10% of the amount he was conned. poor guy. so my dad and i decided to join his cause. but after 5 min, we felt tired and decided to go for a local dessert instead: milk pudding. and i assure you, one will find no need to protest after downing one bowl of this heavenly delicacy!

after that, we walked around and took some pictures. when my folks were tired and took a rest, i wandered on my own and noticed this wet market. oh my gosh. it's a far cry from Spore's over here, the fishes were either swimming, or spasming and jumping around. oh my... i felt like i'm in first love with them.how much fresher can it get? no wonder auntie yapling said she didn't buy fish when she first came to Spore. our fish in the wet markets here are so lifeless! so unmotivated as compared to those in Macau! and i believe the fishes in HK too were just as motivated (to be steamed or fried)!

having walked around, the sky was gradually getting dusk. we decided to just walk a bit further since there were stil time b4 we rendevous back at the hotel at 9pm. we were at a loss as to where to go until i caught sight of the flamboyant colours of the neon lights hung high by the affluence of the casinos. it was obvious as to where we would go next. so we went in and guess wad... total bore. yes it's aesthtically pleasing on the exterior, but the insdie is nth but tables and tables of gambling games which i dun understand. i dun even know Big 2 for crying out loud! it's like asking them... do you guys have UNO? erm... the Stacko type?

after touring around with the boss's daughter at the lobby, my folks and i headed back and tried to buy duck's kidney for my dad's colleague on the way. however, we lost our way and barely made it on time! seeing boss's face, we hurried our way to airport. thank goodness we weren't the last:P

and at 1130pm, so adieus to my 3 days of stay in different parts of PRC, and hellos to home!
