❝first practical❞
today is anna day! wad do i mean? basically we had miss yeo for the whole morning's worth of lessons today. she gave us lecture on the bionocular indirect ophthalmoscopy (BIO) and told us the relevance of degree optoms in singapore. well, i hope she's right about it! and she said with the usage of diagnostic drugs, our responsibilities have increased, like, exponentially. well, i hope she's wrong about it:)

den straight after, our prac group went to the prac room (duh...) and oh my gosh! it felt like i was in the millennium falcon! the equipments look so post modern with the galactic torture chair and the hyperspace maneuvering system! it was nice looking through the piloting goggles while plotting the ship's coordinates! oh erm i heard someone said translation? yea erm... the chair's just the chair which we'd be using esp for during BIO where we might have to adjust to a supine position; the maneuvering system is the computer keyboard and the numerous controls at the station. the piloting goggles are simply the slit-lamp and the monitor screen looks like a set of sophisticated gadgets. ok, i sound like a sua-gu excited kid.

i'm relieved that i managed to pair up with peyik for this afternoon. though the station was designated to me, she managed to take care of it more than i do! and yea, raymond the room ic, simply doesn't look nor act like a student. he seems to be doing the usual stuffs, asking us to place things back and etc etc...

like my usual diehard-blogger mode, i took out my 8 megapixel cam and started taking pics, regardless of whether miss yeo was just standing beside me. well, wad do i have to fear? i'm no longer in clinic now! haha! HOO-HA! PARATROOPERS! i'd have walked around and taken pics of others and teachers who were teaching-in-action if my level of boldness have allowed it!

and it was really fun too having miss dorothy assessing peiyik and i. we chatted over blogging etiquettes and gossiped over some other stuffs instead of asking questions on slit-lamp techniques! haha! didn't felt as much like a practical session though it was really helpful in revising some stuffs. i would say that this was a conducive learning environment:)

after which we went to eat at FC5 and wanted to eat subway until we saw the unbelievable queue. they should open up another foodcourt just for subway alone... and right now, i'm simply wasting my afternoon away completing the online elearning data analysis (ie boring biostats) assessment in the lib. that's my life! and i love it! (well.. as long it doesn't last forever...)

let's hope more exciting stuffs awaits!
