not too long after linjian's bday, the new lease of life for our classmates, esp the guys, soon begun. and i wonder who set the inhumane timing of around 8am. how do you expect 'westerners' like me to go there on time siol?
thanks goodness feilous' parents still remembered me from kamen's bday celebration and feilou asked me if i wanted to join their taxi there. we met at 615am, i remember. and at close to 630, we left in a cab. obviously, feiloui invited his new begginning warmly with a nice and cosy sleep on the cab along the way. i wonder if he really got any sleep in the first place. or if he did, how did he managed to. i on the other hand. can't help but be amazed at the rising sun as we approach the place where the recruits-to-be were supposed to rendezvous. the way the clouds interweave under the chilling morning breeze, and how the first light of the day breaks the darkness in indescribable.
soon after, we arrived and later yunting and huiling arriverd shortly afterwards.

after we sent ah pui on his way to the point of no return, we walked back, contemplating which move to watch at tampines mall while we wait for andrew's turn to be sent off. to my surprised, i saw leonard, togetehr with chanel and poh huat walkng towards the interchange! that day was really sending people off into the nation's cause like nobody's business... haha!!! below: poh huat, leonard and i.

leonard and chanel

after watching the movie, we went along with andrew and his dad into tekong. going through the orientation and watching the new recruits reciting the pledge most certanily brngs back sense of nostalgia.

after their fateful enlistment, we met soon after their confinement, which wasn't much of a confinement at all due to public hol, and they were let off simply after a week, instead of 2 weeks. below are some pics of them showing off their new trendy hairstyles...
